So if you read my previous post, you'll know I made some apple pie with apples I got from this great apple orchard outside DeKalb by Northern Illinois. I found this on a list of Apple Orchards in Illinois that a friend of mine shared with me on Facebook. I looked at other ones that were closer and whatnot but they were pricey cause they charged you a fee to get in and the price they charged you for picking apples and whatnot. I picked this one because I saw reviews about it online and it looked like a ton a fun. Plus, they had apple cider donuts and a petting zoo, what more could you want? My friends and I were suppose to go in mid-September but weather did not permit us to go and prior engagements got in the way.
