Hello Readers (if you exist out there.) Fall season is indeed among us which means one thing to me, PIE! Especially pie of the apple and pumpkin variety because what says fall better than that? I went to an apple orchard with a group of friends the other day and picked some apples with intentions to make apple pie and well to have fun at the orchard. I gathered enough to know to make one pie and of course I found a good recipe to try, and I used a new recipe as well. I used two different recipes to make this: one for the crust and one for the pie filling. So I apologize on my major slacking with this whole blog posting thing. I've actually made a bit of food from May until now and I just keep forgetting to post about it. Hello Readers! This post is about some cupcakes I baked a few days ago. Cupcakes are very popular especially with TV shows like Cupcake Wars and popular cupcake bakeries like Sprinkles, Georgetown Cupcakes, etc. I love making cupcakes because it's a more personalized size for people to eat. I made these because there were two of my co-workers who were going to leave the store and I wanted to send them off with a little good bye gift. One wanted chocolate and the other wanted vanilla cupcakes. I found this recipe about spending a countless amount of time on Google and found it on Pinterest instead. I wanted something quick and easy and not complicated. It's very simple and doesn't require a lot of work. First post on this blog about baking! I love baking and all my family and friends and co-workers can attest to that. Sometimes when I open at work, I'll bring a breakfast item to share with people cause it's become a thing that we've done. I brought a low calorie coffee cake since one of the people I work with is on a diet and I said I would make a low calorie coffee cake so that he can eat it with us. I found this recipe for a low calorie coffee cake and thought I would give it a go!
